The scholarship position includes research on the statistical modelling of cognitive processes. Proposed research areas include but are not limited to decision making, social cognition, or attention. The chosen research project should lead to a dissertation within three years. The successful PhD scholar will participate in the training program of the Research Training Group “Statistical Modeling in Psychology” (SMiP) funded by the DFG. The SMiP group is a transregional collaboration of twelve renowned researchers at five German universities with an international network of instructors and partner institutions
Applicants are required to meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Master degree in Psychology
- Sound knowledge in quantitative research methods
- Highly motivated to engage in research on cognitive psychology and statistical modeling
- Previous experience in the field of experimental psychology is highly appreciate
