The Collaborative Research Centre 958 (SFB 958) “Scaffolding of Membranes – Molecular Mechanisms and Cellular Functions” with the integrated Research Training Group funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) offers several Doctoral Fellowships (stipends)
on interdisciplinary research projects in the fields of cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, structural biology and optical (bio)physics.
The Collaborative Research Centre 958 with the integrated Research Training Group is jointly run by the Freie Universität (FU) Berlin, the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, the Universität Potsdam (UP), as well as by the Leibniz-Institut für Molekulare Pharmakologie (FMP), the Deutsches Institut für
Ernährungsforschung (DIfE), the Deutsches Zentrum für Neurodegenerative Erkrankungen (DZNE), and the Max-Delbrück-Centrum für Molekulare Medizin (MDC).
- Applicants should have gained a top place in their graduating classes.
- They must hold a master’s degree or equivalent in natural science
- Candidates have to meet the requirements which would qualify them for entry to a doctoral programme at the respective institute.
- Applicants should also have a solid proficiency in the English language (at
least level B2).
