Scholarship Description:

International students are welcome to apply for the GSIS International Student Scholarship at Korea University .The scholarship covers master’s and doctoral level programmers at Korea University Graduate School of International Studies in the subject of All Subjects. The scholarship has an open deadline.

GSIS International Student Scholarships are available at Korea University for Masters and PhD degrees.

Scholarship Benefits:

Many international students will receive scholarships (ranging from 50% to 100% of tuition) at GSIS based on their academic performance. The amount of the scholarship for selected international students will be determined by the head of the Graduate School of International Studies Committee based on their academic quality.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants from any country outside of the United States are eligible to apply.
Eligible Courses or Subjects: At Korea University, students can enrol in any graduate degree programme.
Criteria for Eligibility: Applicants must meet all of the following/given requirements to be considered:
To be considered for a scholarship, students must have completed at least 9 credits of coursework in the previous semester, with the exception of foreign language classes and internships, and have a GPA of 4.0 or above.
Students must maintain their enrollment status.
(I won’t be able to take a semester off.)
Students must finish at least 18 credits in total and take all core and core elective courses except “Thesis Research” in order to obtain funding for the third semester.

Application Procedure:

  • The students must log in to the university portal and carry out the application procedure for the preferred program. The applicants will be shortlisted by NIIED upon applying.
