Applications are invited from Japanese nationals for different career opportunities through Asian Development Bank (ADB) Recruitment Outreach 2019. The ADB Talent Acquisition Team will visit Tokyo, Japan on 25 March 2019. It will provide an opportunity for potential Japanese applicants to know better about ADB’s mission and operations, and consider applying for any immediate and future vacancies.
Asian Development Bank (ADB) is an international development finance institution with Headquarter in Manila, Philippines. The institution is composed of 67 members, 48 of which are from the Asia and Pacific region. ADB’s aims is to reduce poverty and promote sustainable economic growth in the region. ADB’s main instruments for helping its developing member countries are policy dialogue, loans, equity investments, guarantees, grants, and technical assistance.
Entry to senior-level professionals with relevant work experience are invited to attend a presentation on ADB’s strategic overview, and how to qualify for ADB vacancies, including the Young Professionals Program and Internship Program. The presentation also includes networking opportunities with ADB Talent Acquisition Team. The presentation will take place at Asian Development Bank Institute, Kasumigaseki Building 8F, 3-2-5, Kasumigaseki, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 100-6008, Japan. Timing will be starting 6:30 p.m.
ADB Talent Acquisition Team will also conduct a separate career guidance to selected individuals. Taking into account their skills and experiences, participants will receive a more in-depth advise on the career opportunities available in ADB. Selected candidates after paper screening will be contacted directly by 15 March with the exact time of the interview. The career guidance will be approximately for thirty (30) minutes on Monday 25 March, 2019 and take place in the Bank’s Japanese Representative Office.

Applicants are required to meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Master’s degree in relevant fields
- University degree in related fields combined with additional relevant professional experience will also be considered
- Minimum of 02 years of relevant professional experience for Entry-level positions, 06 years for Mid-level positions and 10 years for Senior-level positions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- International experience working on several countries
